Registration of "Building Maintenance" and "Interior Fitting-out”
From 1 October 2023, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) includes "Building Maintenance" and "Interior Fitting-out” as the thirteenth and fourteenth designated trade under the Scheme.
Moreover, the CIC has uplifted the Group 2 registration requirements for the first eight designated trades (Concreting / Concreting Formwork / Curtain Wall / Demolition / Erection of Concrete Precast Component / Reinforcement Bar Fixing / Scaffolding / Plastering) from 1 March 2023 to continuously promote the professional development of the industry.
CIC organises online induction workshops regularly for elaborating latest development, registration requirements and application procedures of the Scheme. Please enroll through the "Events and Courses” section of the Scheme Website and 1 hour of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) can be earned upon completion.
